Finish
Oil. All ferrules are cleaned of excessive oil. It's expensive and normally not necessarily required by clients, to do a complete removal of all oil. The cleaning process removes the great majority of oil leaving only small trace amounts after processing.
Surface. Smooth. All ferrules are machine buffed to bring the surface to a smooth near gloss and remove the majority of pitting.
Packaging
Inner. Ferrules are packed loose into woven polypropylene bags of between 100 and 250 pieces depending on size and overall weight.
Label. Simple paper or plastic label with content details (description, quantity etc) is stapled or attached by other method to each bag.
