Finish

  • Oil. All ferrules are cleaned of excessive oil.  It's expensive and normally not necessarily required by clients, to do a complete removal of all oil.  The cleaning process removes the great majority of oil leaving only small trace amounts after processing.

  • Surface.  Smooth.  All ferrules are machine buffed to bring the surface to a smooth near gloss and remove the majority of pitting.

Packaging

  • Inner.  Ferrules are packed loose into woven polypropylene bags of between 100 and 250 pieces depending on size and overall weight.

  • Label.  Simple paper or plastic label with content details (description, quantity etc) is stapled or attached by other method to each bag.
